The 2025 Winter School Choirs are suitable to all students aged 10-18 regardless of their prior musical experience.

Whether you have sung in a choir before or have only begun discovering your voice – the Winter School choirs will provide the opportunity for young musicians to focus on a range of choral music in a variety of styles.

We have two choirs being run at our 2025 Winter School. The Bosch Choir is for school students aged 10-13 (as of the 1st July 2025) and will introduce students to singing in 2/3 part harmony, develop critical ensemble skills, communication and improve aural skills through a series of rehearsals and workshops.

Thanks to the support of Melbourne’s best choral conductors and music educators, participants will sing alongside other young musicians develop rhythmic, vocal and aural skills together and be motivated by the shared goal of a stellar final Winter School performance at Melbourne Recital Centre.

The Junior Choir is suitable for students aged 10-13 with any level of choral experience.
