Melbourne Youth Orchestras offers educational programs for over 1200 young musicians annually. This senior role is responsible for the professional delivery of MYO’s annual schedule of concerts, rehearsals and other events, across the entire MYO program.

It’s an exciting time to be joining our team and 2020 will include a tour of Europe, performances with our partners Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, concerts and Melbourne Recital Centre and ABC Iwaki Auditorium, and a booming ensemble program.

The perfect candidate is highly organised, a great communicator with experience in music operations. Your maturity, professionalism, high standard and leadership skills, along with a love and knowledge of music, will be highly valued.

Melbourne Youth Orchestras is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified instrumental teachers who would like to join our education team.

Your participation as an instrumental tutor will not only see you unleash the creativity of more than 1200 students who participate in our programs but also give you access to the collegial environment at Melbourne Youth Orchestras where you can network, share ideas, support your colleagues and foster closer working relationships within the music community.

We welcome expressions of interest from tutors of all instruments and at all levels.
