In a precautionary measure that considers the health and wellbeing of our community, MYO is temporarily postponing all of its programs, including the Prelude Program, from 16 March, 2020.

The second Prelude Workshop: Masterclass 1 of 2 with Wenhong Luo, originally scheduled for 28 March, 2020, will be rescheduled to a later date.

Melbourne Youth Orchestras (MYO) and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) are working in collaboration to improve music education and learning outcomes for Victorian students. This initiative has been designed to help MYO students excel in VCE Music and prepare for tertiary study.

We all know that Year 12 can be challenging time for students, so let us relieve some of the pressure and help to extend your music studies.

Audition early for the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music

MCM will be holding early auditions for MYO students, for provisional acceptance into the Melbourne Con. You’ll still need a good ATAR score but rest easy knowing your audition for entry to the Con is done and dusted.
