External Grievances and Complaints Policy

An effective complaint handling system is one that is modelled on the principles of fairness, accessibility, responsiveness, efficiency and integration into MYO’s culture, and that creates a safe environment to raise concerns.

MYO therefore encourages its students and participants, and also others who engage with MYO externally in some form (i.e. members of the public, attendees at events, parents, carers etc.), to provide feedback, and in situations where they believe services, systems, practices and procedures have fallen short, to submit complaints so that we can address them.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that MYO handles complaints fairly, efficiently and effectively. The policy provides guidance to people who wish to make a complaint.
