Join the exceptional musicians of the Melbourne Youth Orchestra for a journey through the music of one of history’s most famous composers. Conducted by Brett Kelly, the 95-piece symphony orchestra will bring Tchaikovsky’s masterpieces to life.

From the sweeping melodies of Symphony No. 5 to the shimmering magic from Tchaikovsky’s ballet – The Nutcracker Suite, this program showcases Tchaikovsky’s genius and the Melbourne Youth Orchestra in all its glory. The concert reaches a dramatic finale with the 1812 Overture featuring a large group of additional brass musicians drawn from the Ballarat area.
