The Melbourne Youth Orchestra opens its 2026 season with a bold program of heroic themes and soaring romanticism.

Conducted by Brett Kelly, the program journeys from defiant beginnings to exhilarating drama through works by Beethoven, Weber and Richard Strauss, featuring exceptional soloist and former MYO musician Freya Parr in Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No. 1.
