Join Alexandra Cameron Strings to consolidate and develop your ensemble experience
Dr Alexandra Cameron MBE changed the face of music education in Victoria by introducting free orchestral instrumental tuition to schools. In 1967, she established Melbourne Youth Orchestras to provide orchestral music experience for students.
We celebrate her legacy in the Alexandra Cameron Strings, which provides a crucial stepping stone to advanced levels of ensemble string playing.
