2019 Summer School: Symphonic Wind Band

Advanced musicians are invited to join the Summer School Symphonic Wind Band, led by conductor and educator Rob Williams (Education Outreach Clinician, Yamaha Music Australia). This ensemble will bring together 60 of Victoria’s best young wind, brass and percussion players who understand why band music is exciting to play, and challenge themselves beyond their existing participation in school or community bands.

Those who are accepted into this high-standard ensemble will develop advanced rehearsal skills supported by our team of tutors.  This is a chance to play in a band with all instruments represented, full sections, and demanding repertoire, reserved for the most elite ensembles.
