Brett Kelly joins Summer School to share with participants his wealth of knowledge and approach to technique, score preparation, rehearsal and performance. Don’t miss out on a week of intensive training with this highly respected conductor.
Over the first part of the week participants will develop their knowledge and skills in score preparation and study, and conducting technique working with Brett Kelly alongside two pianos. Later in the week the focus will shift to rehearsal technique where participants will work, and have podium time, with a reduced string ensemble. There will also be opportunities for orchestral, band and string ensemble observation.
The week will culminate with the participants performing with the Chamber Orchestra as part of the MYO Summer School concert series.
